Translation Word Counts
Review Word Counts
Key notes about calculating reviewed word counts using the Transifex Reports tool:
- If a string is reviewed and then removed, the reviewed word count will still be counted.
- Every time a string is reviewed (even if unreviewed and then reviewed again) it is counted in a reviewer's total word count.
Example #1
- 1: User reviews the already translated entry (4 words are added to Review_Total)
- 2: User unreviews the same string (the existing results in the report are not being affected by this action)
- 3: User modifies the translation of the string (4 words are added to the Edit_total column)
- 4: User reviews the same string again (4 more words will be added to Review_Total)
Final Word Count:
- Review_Total = 8
- Edit total = 4
- New_total = 4
Example #2
- 1: The user reviews the already translated entry (4 words are added to Review_Total)
- 2: The source file is updated and the string is being removed.
Final Word Count
- Review_Total = 4
Example #3
- 1: The user reviews the already translated entry (4 words are added to Review_Total)
- 2: The source file is updated and the string is updated (extra 4 words are added, total wordcount=8)
- 3: The string is automatically translated by TM
- 4: The user reviews the translation
Final Word Count
- Review_Total = 12
The number of reviewed words in the reports will be 4 (from the first review) +8 (from the second review where the extra words are included).
