What to Expect
The goal of the #TorL10nHackathon is to translate and review the Tor Community Portal and collaborate with other language team members to build the Tor Project glossary and create style guides.
This is a virtual, self-paced event. Join us in Transifex and on the chat channels when you have free time on the 6th, 7th and 9th of November. Ask questions and collaborate in the chat channels and shared docs, translate and review on Transifex, join us for audio/video chats and tutorials listed in the agenda below.

November 6, 2020
- Event Opening (15:00 UTC)
- Join us for the official opening of the Tor L10n Hackathon for an introduction to the event hosts, an overview of the event agenda and an introduction to the Tor Project community portal.

Getting Started
1. Create a Transifex Account:
- Haven't created a Transifex account yet? Create one here.
2. Join the Tor Project & Tor Project Web Translation Team.
3. Open the Community Portal resource in Transifex.
4. Open the Community portal website so you can see what you are translating in context.
5. Chose which section of the Community Portal you would like to work on.
- You can filter the strings in Transifex by topic by selecting the Tag button in the Transifex web editor. The Community Portal can be filtered by 6 main categories: localization, relay-operations, user-research, onion-services, training, and outreach
6. Remember to refer to the many resources available to help you translate and review:

- We will host video / audio events throughout the hackathon on Big Blue Button. Be sure to register for the event so that you can receive links to join these events.
